Location
New Hanza neighbourhood
New Hanza is an area of almost 25 hectares located next to Riga’s Quiet Centre and the rapidly developing Skanste neighbourhood. The New Hanza area sits between Hanzas, Pulkveža Brieža, Sporta and Skanstes streets.
The office building will be located within New Hanza next to the cultural venue Hanzas perons, which has received a number of Latvian and international architecture and construction awards.
New Hanza is developing not only as an environment, but also as a business community — a place where companies and professionals from various industries work side by side. This close-knit environment and proximity create ample opportunities for new connections, the exchange of ideas and collaboration.

Development
of the area
New Hanza is being developed as a place where everyone can feel at home – whether working, living or relaxing. In 2019, Riga’s former railway cargo station was transformed into the modern cultural venue Hanzas perons, while in 2023 construction of the first office building New Hanza biroji (1 Mihaila Tāla Street), was completed. The first New Hanza apartments are currently under construction on Gustava Kluča Street, with 258 high-quality apartments set to become available by the end of 2027. The New Hanza dārzs urban park will become the green heart of New Hanza.

Events
Hanzas perons
In 2019, the former warehouse building of Riga’s cargo railway station was reborn as cultural venue Hanzas perons. Following an extensive reconstruction, it was transformed into a multifunctional space for a wide range of events, combining the building’s history of more than 100 years with a modern approach to its day-to-day operation. In a short period of time, Hanzas perons has become a significant cultural destination in Riga and will continue to provide additional benefits for tenants of the neighbouring office buildings.

Park
New Hanza dārzs
New Hanza dārzs park will cover a total area of 1.6 hectares. Located at the very heart of New Hanza, it will become the neighbourhood’s green heart. This new public park in Riga will be open to everyone, offering opportunities for outdoor recreation and community activities in a modern, safe and beautifully landscaped environment.

Residential buildings
New Hanza apartments
Construction of four buildings began in October 2025, bringing 258 new, modern, fully finished apartments to Riga by the end of 2027. Built by Pillar Contractor, the New Hanza apartments will be located on a street named after the artist Gustavs Klucis. Residents will also have access to storage facilities and parking. Commercial premises will be located on the ground floors of the buildings.

Park
New Hanza dārzs
The park will feature a café, a 200 m² art pavilion, dedicated spots for outdoor art installations, and new amenities—creating a comfortable green retreat right in the city, designed by the architecture firm Piuarch.
